Defining Qunu is chef Matthew Foxon’s commitment to sourcing local ingredients and his hands-on approach to selecting produce. An example of the culinary prowess is the seared scallops served with masala cream, curry leaf oil and a charred carrot tartare. The scallops are cooked to perfection, tender and flavourful and the accompanying masala cream adds an indulgent touch. Vegetarians will appreciate the melanzane raviolo which is paired with a smoked pomodoro and Parmesan foam, a harmonious blend of flavours and textures.
