The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    The steak roll was tough to chew and lacked flavor, and the chicken didn't have a proper grilled taste - it was undercooked and had an overpowering chicken smell. On a positive note, the waffle was delicious and perfectly cooked. I'll consider revisiting one day , hoping for a better experince overall.

    I’ve rated the service a one because when we got to the restaurant, they said that we didn’t have a booking. I made the booking a week in advance, confirmed the booking again on the date we were going. We had to wait for a table to open so that we can dine. I found it very unpleasant, I don’t think I’ll ever book there again.
