I chose The Palms to treat a few visitors to a breakfast but what a wonderful experience. The food was excellent well presented and 110 out of 100 to the Chef well done. I want to commend the following staff for their excellent service. 1 Catherine since the first day of communicating and corresponding with her to secure a booking. 2 Dane for greeting and warm welcoming us at the door and going way beyond that extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable throughout the duration of our breakfast. 3 Blessing for his excellent service and ensuring that were happy all the time. Well done to you all and if I may have forgotten anyone else my humble apologies. Our whole experience with the venue was wonderful and what a stunningly clean venue which went beyond our expectations. Our visitors were most impressed. Keep up this excellent standard of service and good food. We will definitely be back again.

Nestled in the tranquil suburban landscape, this restaurant offers a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. My recent Tuesday evening visit coincided with their themed Spice Night, revealing a culinary journey that delighted both the palate and the senses. The atmosphere exudes a relaxed sophistication, with beautiful surroundings that invite diners to unwind and savour each moment. What truly sets this establishment apart is its staff—knowledgeable and attentive, they are committed to crafting a dining experience that is as memorable as it is delicious. The carefully curated menu showcased remarkable attention to detail, with each course thoughtfully designed to complement the others. My gastronomic exploration began with crisp, golden samoosas—a classic appetizer executed with precision. The starter set a promising tone for the meal to follow. The main course, a quintessential Durban Curry, was a masterful representation of bold, authentic flavours. Rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, it demonstrated the kitchen's deep understanding of traditional cuisine. A carefully selected wine pairing elevated the dish, creating a harmonious balance of flavours. The culinary journey concluded with a classic Malva Pudding, a sweet finale that captured the essence of South African dessert tradition. Warm, sticky, and indulgent, it provided a perfect counterpoint to the preceding spicy notes. At R395, including a glass of wine, the Spice Route menu represents exceptional value. This restaurant is not merely a meal, but a celebration of flavour, technique, and hospitality. Highly Recommended

An absolutely beautiful venue and dining experience Found the menu / bill confusing as the offer was sold as "R295 for the steak / sides and a sauce""....yet menu or bill didn't match this!
