Pablo at The Mint Hotel, sees the restaurant synonymous with brunch expand its culinary journey, marking a trip through the Mediterranean and onto the Middle East, as the establishment transitions to an all-day and full-dinner experience.

In keeping with Pablo’s ethos of family and community at its heart, the menu brims with sharing styles, breakfast and lunch mezze and small plates offerings, pizza and Middle Eastern inspired tacos while wood-fired grills are on offer from lunch and dinner.

The décor at Pablo at The Mint Hotel has a signature colour palate of teal and rust, pressed ceilings and layout which combines intimate lower banquet seating and more social bar height tables. Pablo restaurant embraces al-fresco dining with the inside flowing out to the patio and onto the hotel’s pool terrace with a sparkling view.

    Im very disappointed..I will never recommend that place to someone..the only friendly person was the dark tall guy unfortunately his shift ended and someone had to take over his table..bad bad service

    The service was very bad and our waiter was kind rude and didn’t take us seriously. The food was nice but the drinks were bad. In terms of service it was horrible but the food was good

    We opted for the buffet breakfast. When serving pastries, we had to ask for side plates and knifes and no butter was available. The fried eggs served at the hot buffet was overdone, sticking to the serving dish and not enough to cater for all of us. The potato dish was also not enough.

    We went to Pablo for breakfast, unfortunately the service was extremely slow, and the restaurant was not busy. There were three of us and three out of three orders were incorrect, wrong order and ingredients left out. I believe the staff working at Pablo need a bit more training and the manager needs to get involved to make sure everything is okay and customers are happy!

    I was really excited to try out Pablo but I was slightly disappointed by the food. My friend and I had the lamb chops and found them quite charred, chewy and underseasoned. Our waitress was lovely but she did not ask us how we preferred our meat. My husband had the lamb shank and he was not happy with it either. It was too salty and I remember sharing some of my fries to help him eat his meal. My friend's husband had the fish and chips. He had no complaints, so I will assume he was happy with his meal. The fries were really great btw!! We also loved their popping bubble drinks. So much that I had 3 of them.

    It was a Christmas buffet. The food was very basic. The waiting staff was not well informed about the program of the day. We had booked an inside seating table but were seated outside.

    We had the Christmas lunch. 4 of our party of 10 experienced diarrhea..2 really bad they had to sell medical attention. We were politely asked to leave as they needed the table for the next guests. Seating area was cramped. For R600 a head there really could gave been more options. Service was great. Unfortunately will not be coming back

    We Sat at the 3rd sitting and I could see that some of the food were dried out and standing out all day. However the variety and amount of food was great.
