The Old Town Italy restaurant is at the heart of the store where friends, business colleagues, family and people passing through stop to take it all in. The restaurant is a show case of our values, service and belief in authentic Italian food. There is a constant flow in this area where you can grab a quick coffee or linger for a fresh breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here is where you truly experience the feeling of Old Town with a sense of returning to old school methods, artisanal cooking and good service.

The Old Town Italy cafe undertakes to serve the freshest premium-quality foods in as ethical a manner as possible. Our cafe also represents a movement back to “real food”.

Our menu is authentically Italian, yet flexible enough to stay up to date with the latest health trends and food movements. We focus on Italian products, but also source local products that align with our food philosophy. No GMO products are allowed in our store.

From authentic Italian dishes, to cuts from our butchery, grill section. fresh salads, to panini / piadina and hand-stretched Neapolitan pizza with real mozzarella.

    Good was really very bland and average and my mum had finished her food before her chosen side arrived (3rd time lucky because they brought the wrong side twice) Seriously disappointing and puts the original umhlanga branch to shame

    What an amazing place to have spent Valentine's Day 2025! The food! The reception! The photobooth! Everything!!! We will most definitely be visiting again. The portions are generous, the waiters and manager take such good care of you ensuring you have the best experience. Making a reservation was seemless, and again THE FOOD!!! Absolutely devine!!

    We were seated VERY fast. BUT the booking was very deceiving! We asked for an outside table but there was NO outside seating! The waiters were rushing to take your order but then FORGET to bring anything! My Pizza came out ICE cold!! when asked to please warm it up i was given attitude!! I had to ask atleast 4 different waiters for my bill at the end! Was a very disappointing experience! Unfortunately we will never go back or recommend to anyone!
