We went for one of the "Movies under the stars" evenings. The picnic basket was delicious and very generous portions. We had a lovely evening. The only issues we had was with the booking, and the attitude of the management. Our booking 'disappeared' off the system, and they had to scramble to find us a picnic basket. There was no apology or recognition that they had messed up - we were made to feel like it was our fault and we had to prove that we had booked and paid. Fortunately someone else had cancelled, otherwise I'm not sure what would have happened. A friend we went with had enquired about having his own non-alcoholic beers (he had brought because its a wine farm and he wasn't sure if they would have non-alc beers, and he was driving). When the waitress came to ask the restaurant manager if he could drink his own beer, the manager behaved atrociously, insulting him to the waitress - not realising that he was with us. And then he made a corkage charge up on the spot which was ridiculously high. They only had one option for non-alc beer, which my friend then gladly bought. Given the amount that we had paid for the movie night plus the wine plus the picnic basket, I don't think the profit on 3 non-alc beers that my friend had brought, would have killed them. Great venue, great food, but that tainted the whole experience and will make me think twice about going back.

We booked a picnic basket to have while watching a movie under the stars - a lovely setting and the basket was FANTASTIC! HOWEVER, before the film we decided to do a wine tasting - this was the part of the evening that was a bit of a let-down. There was a gentleman with his shoes off, on his phones loudspeaker, stretched across the only couch. Why this was allowed was beyond me as it really ruined the ambiance of what could be a lovely place. Our waiter was also less than enthused when serving our tasting. What should be a premium experience was reduced to something fairly comical

Tapas were great, very tasty food! Movie under the stars, fantastic, but please don't be grumpy with the kids for running over the wires/cables, rather have them covered with a safety mat or similar so it's not a hazard. I saw a gentleman, who was a customer, placing chairs over the wire/cables because he identified it as a safety issue. Also, the popcorn!! 1/4 full, really Benguela!? Were you rationing it? For the price of popcorn you could have surely filled the small buckets, and if you'd run out or come to the end, don't charge for 1/4 of a bucket!? That was unacceptable, as well as running out of loo paper in the ladies. Some constructive feedback for you, I hope you find it useful, overall it was a very pleasant evening, thank you.
