Classic bistro - excellent food made special with excellent flavours and presentation. Very interesting and unusual wine list - with focus on local estates. All is a relaxed environment. Repeat inevitable!

Both main courses were delicious and fairly priced. We had the fish and the lamb. We really enjoyed the wood smoked flavours. Since our meals were so different we opted not to share a bottle of wine, but unfortunately the price per glass seemed unreasonably high. My view of the Checkers neon sign detracted from the ambiance and I feel some softer furnishings could aid the acoustics and create a cosier atmosphere. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and charming.
