One of the worst experiences in South Africa where locals meet to be seen, but that’s it. Only positive note is that the waitress was attentive. Food was terrible. Oily and fatty, too salty. Steaks were served cold and tasted like a shoe sole. Very chewy, even the sirloin! How can that be messed up? Eating octopus was like chewing on rubber. The food was terrible. Don’t recommend, will never come back! Go to less expensive places like the Cape Town fish market, Willoghby’s or even La Parada where they serve great food for a fair price. This Marble was a terrible experience. Noisy as hell, could not hear yourself think. Absolutely not recommended.

We were a party of eight. Everything was perfect from the moment we entered the lift to go up to the beautiful restaurant. Best negroni I have ever tasted which set the tone for the meals and service. Would highly recommend.

Food was very average, Rib Eys steaks were dry no moisture or taste. Open fire steaks lose moisture fast. Plates warm food cold. Bowls of soggy chips with some form of home made tomato sauce at the bottom. 7 of us and not one raced about the food. 24 people on the restaurant and 52 staff on duty. You would think they can get it right….. management walking around doing nothing only looking like they know what they doing. Didn’t come to our table once to ask how things were. I don’t think either of them had an ounce of catering knowledge between them. David Higgs you got work to do here I can assure you. Stop relying on the waterfront for tourists and get the quality right. Waiter was not very knowledgeable on the menu he stutttered and stammered his way through. No enthusiasm. Will not be returning to the tourist trap. I will pay good money for quality but not mediocre food. Layout is nice but the food does not meet the standards.
