LUPA Osteria is a bustling Italian restaurant serving authentic food in a warm and inviting setting . Whether you want a delicious bowl of pasta on a random Tuesday, country fresh salad, wood-oven baked pizza or a big celebration dinner with friends, LUPA offers all this and more.

We pride ourselves in staying true to our Italian roots and in keeping traditional Roman cuisine alive. Each Lupa has a designated pasta making & drying room where our fresh pasta is hand-made daily. A wood fired pizza oven is used for truly authentic pizzas and for baking many other traditional dishes for that extra flavour and authenticity.

Our wines list is extensive and offers a great selection of local and imported wine, beer and spirits to accompany your food or have a beautiful cocktail at aperitivo hour!

    Excellent vegetarian pizza and outstanding service from the waiter. He was attentive and cheerful. We had a lovely evening!

    Generally the food was underwhelming. Three of our table had Calamar as a main all had the same opinion and one said he wouldn’t have it again. Vegies dry and no sauce offered. Service poor and waitress inattentive

    This is our go to eatery as it is less than a kilometer from our home. It is usually good but on Tuesday night, Christmas eve, it was terrible. We were there early, 17:30, and was seated but no waiter arrived. Other tables arrived after us and got served before us. I eventually went to reception and placed a drinks order with them. For supper I ordered Falklands Calamari and it was absolutely tasteless. The spinach was the best thing on my plate. My wife's steak was good though. I didn't finish my meal and we received no further service. We eventually got up and went to reception to settle our bill. We would have stayed longer and ordered more if there was any service. I am very disappointed as the owner's / manager's wife was also sitting at reception and didn't say a word.,

    Thanks Jacques for your constructive feedback received. Please accept our sincere apologies for the lack of service delivery received during your Christmas Eve dinner at our establishment. I am aware of the break down in communication between the waitron & management structure and have addressed the issue in house. As a token of goodwill please accept a voucher in the amount of R400 which can be collected from either Colleen or myself should you decide to visit our restaurant at a later stage ! Thank you for bringing this bad experience to my attention so that I am able to address the shortcomings experienced !!!
