LUPA Osteria is a bustling Italian restaurant serving authentic food in a warm and inviting setting . Whether you want a delicious bowl of pasta on a random Tuesday, country fresh salad, wood-oven baked pizza or a big celebration dinner with friends, LUPA offers all this and more.

We pride ourselves in staying true to our Italian roots and in keeping traditional Roman cuisine alive. Each Lupa has a designated pasta making & drying room where our fresh pasta is hand-made daily. A wood fired pizza oven is used for truly authentic pizzas and for baking many other traditional dishes for that extra flavour and authenticity.

Our wines list is extensive and offers a great selection of local and imported wine, beer and spirits to accompany your food or have a beautiful cocktail at aperitivo hour!

What a wonderful longggg lunch us ladies had! Thank you to Charmaine for such excellent service - you were amazing and made our whole experience even better! Only criticism of the food is that the panzerotti portion was a little small

The service was slow and the waitress inattentive. The food arrived after waiting an unacceptable long time, 3 out of 4 meals were luke warm. We did not complain as we were guests of the other couple. This is the second bad experience at Lupa Design Quarter, do not believe we will be back.

Amazing ambience & atmosphere, spacious setting, my pasta was undercooked unfortunately but was tops flavourwise (Penne Oriental). The waiter, Bongani, was very rude, did not smile or offer assistance, he wanted us to hurry up & leave it seemed. He gave me a warm Savanna & was annoyed when I said it was warm & he looked at me. I then asked for ice as he was not going to offer it. I told him & it was my friends birthday & yet he didn't bother to wish him. Very poor service from his side, yet all the other waiters were friendly & lovely. Stina & Ruby stepped up to correct this, giving us free creme brulees & apologising for Bongani's behaviour. That was very kind of them. Will be back, but will not have Bongani as our waiter again. He sours the atmosphere at Lupa with his curt, arrogant conduct.
