    Where does one start ... Jaco the GOAT! Austin the legend! There was a point where Austin made a glass drop but it did not break, I told myself we got the right guy serving us. My date was running late, and I got irritated, I called Jaco to let him know we are running a bit late and Jaco said "Don't stress, we are still good" ... I instantly calmed the fuck down and started enjoying my night before I got to the restaurant, Thanks to Jaco. When we got there, I knew I am not alone trying to impress this date of mine, the ambience was there, the mood was set, and I was definitely getting laid, that was my thought upon arrival, all I had to do was think of my conversation with this lady. Austin suggested a seat in the corner that was more intimate, I thank you for that brother, perfect seat, no one behind us and we had an overview of the restaurant which I prefer. Austin gave us time to settle in, brought out the wine, got us on the starters and the rest was history, the timing in which everything was done was perfect. Austin stayed smiling and energetic, big ups to him, and I wish him all the best with his hustle. Jaco on the other hand .... as soon as we were settled in by Austin, Jaco came to our table greeted us and really put my nerves at ease, he made a joke or 2 and gave us complimentary shots, and that really set the mood, we felt welcomed, and it helped me engage more with my date because I was confident enough knowing that this team has my back and that's what it felt like. I am truly grateful to the service and experience these guys gave me, we went home to my place, and I had a half a bottle of wine left over, we had a glass or 2, she thanked me for the incredible date (if you know what I mean hahahaha), and I couldn't help but smile the following morning as I made us breakfast, with all honesty I stood in my kitchen and reminisced about the evening, smiled and mentally thanked Jaco and Austin and Southern Sun Hyde Park. THANK YOU AGAIN FAM! YOU GUYS SET THE BAR!

    Dumplings were cold and dry The beef rump was okay but to serve with chips was a little low standard but I guess for the price we pay it wa fine Dessert was nice Cocktail menu was limited But we received a great service overall
