La Parada Bar De Tapas is a tribute to the Spanish bars that bewitched Hemingway. La Parada offers tapas born from Spanish heritage.

With an impressive interior, boasting ornate pressed ceilings, a miscellany of chairs and lampshades and an electic selection of Spanish tiles, La Parada specialises in sharing small plates that incorporates a Spanish flair and a great vibe. With many patrons popping in for afternoon drinks and a light bite, rather than a sit-down dinner – which is after all the origin of tapas – the drinks list encourages as much experimentation as the menu.

    It was our first time visiting Laparada and l was pleasantly impressed and felt like I was in a restaurant in Europe. Very high standard and deco. It was my husbands birthday and we arrived after 7pm and the Manager was flexible and gave us a table with our 2 young children. The service was excellent and Dyonne was very professional and catered to us and the food was served in a timely manner and very tasty. The cocktails were also good and l give them the restaurant a perfect 10 and will definitely dine here again.

    The food was very salty. I had lamb, my friends had steak and salmon, all salty. My friend and I ordered medium rare, the meat came well-done. There is alot of room for improvement on the food side, I have friends who complained about the food as well. Otherwise the ambience is 10 out of 10. I will come for drinks not for the food

    Food was decent but they didnt have the first two wines i tried to order, half the sides werent available, no chips, the waiting staff, although pleasant, didnt seem to know anything about the tapas which would indicate a lack of training and the roof leaked! A disappointing experience overall!
