    service can be a bit unattentive but once the order is in it flows. I did not enjoy having to slap away flies throughout the meal. The server brought a candle only when asked.

    The food at La Belle is very good but they could provide more imaginative vegetarian options - salad, a pasta and a vegetarian burger is a bit of a cop-out.

    Our waiter Edgar was excellent. Friendly, responsive, quick. The ambiance was warm and it was easy to have a conversation because it wasn't too loud. The chips were great. My pork belly was tough.

    This time it took an unusually long time for us to receive our order. The reason was that it was very busy that day. But we were apologised for this several times and the high quality and friendliness of La Belle made us forget all about it. So we were absolutely happy guests!
