The Kleine Zalze Restaurant and Wine tasting centre together offer a holistic Kleine Zalze integrated food and wine experience.
Well-known and respected chef Nic van Wyk leads the team at the restaurant and the focus is on timeless, honest, generous, and authentic cooking. Not necessarily fine dining but certainly top-quality delicious food.

Our brand-new Taste, Explore, Relax menu that will run daily from Monday to Saturday will offer you, our guest not only a selection of new dishes but also the choice of the portion size that you would like to enjoy. Taste – think tapas, Explore – similar to a starter or light lunch, and Relax – a traditional main course. All of these options are of course naturally and easily paired with a glass or bottle of Kleine Zalze wine.

Our relaxed, set 4 course, Sunday lunches with friends and family is a tradition that is shared and enjoyed all over the world.

    We chose De Zalze because of its wide vegetarian options. The prices are good value, but the entire menu needs an overhaul and refresh. The food is old fashioned and staid eurocentric; pretty much like its guests. We are also two seniors who dined with our son at your place, but we look for fresher, healthier food. We do however see your dilemma with a demographic stuck in a food culture that probably won't like change.

    The idea of being able to choose the size of the portions is great! We would love to come back and will recommend it to all our friends!!!!

    For me the best food I had till now in South Africa. I reccomend to try all different dishes to get the taste oder this great kitchen.
