I had a great dining experience at Kashew! The deck area is beautiful especially now on the summer. The food was impressive, particularly the Mac and cheese poppers and tender oxtail, although the dumplings needed improvement. Unfortunately, the T-bone was overcooked. The drinks, margaritas and French 75, were potent and enjoyable. Best of all, the pricing was surprisingly affordable, with our total bill coming in under R1,300 for two people, including eight cocktails. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely return.

Food portions are insanely small, and value for money is compromised by food portions. Service was terrible, our waiter had too many tables and the kitchen took forever to get food out. Granted the restaurant is in a hotel but the patrons come in dressed anyhow and this is unregulated. Probably the worst dining experience I have had in a long time.
