Chef and charcuterie whizz Neil Jewell, together with his wife Tina Jewell, at the helm of this farm-to-table eatery at Spice Route Destination. The open-kitchen restaurant has comfortable yet sophisticated-country style indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with picturesque views of the Simonsberg Mountains and Table Mountain. As you would expect, only the best-quality ingredients are used in the dishes, including organic Red Angus beef from Charles Backs herd, with a regularly updated seasonal menu.

    We had an outstanding year end lunch at Jewell’s yesterday. Service was excellent. Imaginative food with intense flavours.

    Another wonderful meal at our favourite restaurant (probably just as well it's not closer to home, or our waist lines would suffer!). There's a good reason we've been enjoying Neil and Tina's hospitality for more than 20 years. Couldn't recommend it more!

    We had the most lovely Saturday lunch. We chose the special of spit roast chicken, roast wedge potatoes and a beautiful caesar salad to share, though the whole menu was tempting. Everything was perfect and relaxed, topped off with beautiful views, even as far as Table Mountain. Highly recommended.
