    Our visit to Jakkalsvlei exceeded our expectations. From the ambience, the surroundings, the restuarant, the wine, the food ... everything was super!! Thank you for making my mother's 84th birthday lunch unforgettable.

    Very nice place with a very nice atmosphere to it how ever, the waiter that was serving our table was not a very pleasant person to deal with. When it got to paying our bill (table for 6) we did not have enough money to rip the waiter and thinking he would be grateful for the little we had he was so rude towards it telling me that I must keep my money and that the "change" I gave him was a slap in his face. I work in retail for 15 years now and never in my life have I spoken to any of my clients in such a way which is why I would not recommend this particular restaurant, maybe to anyone that I know

At Jakkalsvlei, we believe that tips are a gesture of appreciation from our customers, not an expectation. Our staff are trained to be respectful and courteous, regardless of the situation. We've spoken to the waiter involved, and he has apologized for his actions, which were never intended to insult or offend. We've taken disciplinary action against the waiter to ensure that this kind of incident doesn't happen again. We hope that you can forgive us and that we can have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.     We had an amazing time! Riaan was an amazing waiter, we enjoyed his humor. The food was delicious and the wine even more so.

    Kos porsie is te klein.. R195 vir een klein stukkie bief rib vleis vir n groot man en dan kom die bykosse nog extra by ook. Maar dit was lekker gewees.
