Cheyne Morrisby & Danielle Oosthuizen open the doors of Hiro Izakaya. Hiro is a place of food, drink & connectivity situated on the beautiful Constantia Uitsig Farm.

Hiro showcases modern Japanese cuisine designed for tasting in a unique space that is synonymous to Cheyne & Danielle. Added to the Hiro experience Cheyne & Danielle have created a 6 seater experiential chefs table decorated with Danielle’s artwork.

    Love everything about HIRO Izakaya ! The food - beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! The service - the staff are always happy, smiling and helpful. The ambience - when sitting outside is beautiful. Inside is lovely at night (not sure during the day as I have only been at night).

    Fusion food, especially S.E. Asian is something my wife and I really enjoy. HI hits all the buttons, especially for a veggie. It’s a quick meal, great cocktails, good service, nice al fresco atmosphere.

    We are a regular guest at HIRO. This visit has been the best of all: The food was good to excellent, all the dishes. Top-Service!!!

    Phones were more important then guests. No attention was paid to guests, if they wanted to order something. Menu (4 dishes pp) for 450 rand will be more expensive in the end. Please hang screens outside on your terrasse, against the strong wind. No, won’t come back, although the food was great. Service is also important, even if an evening has less guests

We are taking immediate action against this to make sure this will not happen moving forward. The supplier has done measurements so we are in the process of setting it up within the next few weeks.
