brialliant food, great execution of service, the only point I would make that the wooden table tops at our table are not on par with the rest of the setting, eithere use a table cloth or replace the table top with a better surface which is not sticky and that looks right with the rest of the modern industrial art collection ambiance

Picnic was average. However Restaurant looks great. Picnic isn't comparable to ones we have had in stellenbosch. Very simple cheese and tomato bread and mushroom everything for the vegetarian . Scotch egg was very rich. Ice lolly from coffee shop was defrosted and frozen again with large pieces of ice on it..

The picnic basket was very disappointing, especially at the price point. The sausage rolls were raw even after the kitchen took them away to cook again. The food was just generally very oily and sloppy. The salad was awful, like it had been prepared hours before. The staff were attentive and tried to rectify the situation and provided a complimentary cheese board and drink. I will sadly not go back for the picnic and not rushing to the restaurant either after the experience.
