    The food was exceptional but the wine pairing was a disappointment. The wines were good if not excellent but they were grossly overpriced. 4 VERY small glasses for R 800 destroyed the dining experience.

    Very hectic! Great setting and hustle and bustle. Our waiter was rather busy and we had difficulty finding and keeping the sommelier, who although helpful kept disappearing. We did feel we were being inconvenient in wanting to make sure we got our wine right for what we had heard would be excellent food. The wine list is fabulous. The food was certainly very good, although not excellent. Service is what let it down with not enough waiters and our amuse-bouche were dumped on the table as the waiter passed by - |I had to call him back to ask him what they actually were. No one seemed to really care or ask if we were enjoying the food. Making your customers feel superfluous is not a way to keep them coming! More of a loud, noisy vibe than a quiet relaxing place, which is fine, but service needs attention please.
