    The restaurant has a lovely, cosy ambience, but unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great. We tried the tasting menu, and both of us got sick the next day, possibly from something we ate. Because of this, I can’t recommend the place. Additionally, the tip was directly included in the bill by the staff without being mentioned, so we ended up paying it twice. The deposit we paid wasn’t deducted either, and we had to ask for it to be corrected. Disappointing overall.

We are very sorry to hear that you felt unwell after your visit. While we cannot say for certain what may have caused it, we absolutely understand your concern and take your feedback seriously. Please be rest assured that the health and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us. Our kitchen team follows strict hygiene practices to ensure all ingredients are handled and stored correctly - and to be on the safe side, we will follow up with our supplier to check if there were any other concerns noted recently. That said, we have not received any other reports from guests, so hopefully this is an unfortunate but isolated incident. We also sincerely apologise for the confusion regarding the tip and deposit. That’s certainly not the experience we want any of our guests to have, and we’ll be sure to note with our team to communicate clearly to avoid any confusion.     The canapes and starters were definitely our favorite part of the meal.

    Gostei do ambiente e do serviço. E ainda mais da flexibilidade para trocarmos de sala. Teve boa música também. É um bom lugar para se estar.

    I have been to Grub & Vine many times (and always had a fabulous meal and evening) and on this recent occasion (26th Mar) everything seemed so flat and lacked the usual energy. Staff seemed a little bored but were still attentive. A wine we wanted was not available which happens but there was no attempt to suggest an alternative similar one. The lamb was unavailable (wrong cut was delivered apparently) but on both occasions we were told after we ordered, not before. Overall the food was ok (risotto was a hit) but the menu seemed tired and not up to its usual creativity. I would say it was unusually over seasoned . There was a lack of choice/balance in the menu. Unfortunately, we were entertaining 4 overseas guests who were less than impressed after I told them how great it was. Hopefully next time it will be back to its best.

    What an amazing experience. The restaurant is really well placed and ambience and food was amazing. The experience was definitely enhanced by our waitress Petronella she was receptive and explained all the meals to us with expert knowledge. It is an expensive experience if you have the 3 course menu and the food is alot as well. We loved all the meals that was provided. If you there definitely ask for Petronella as your waitress. They have a super extensive Wine menu that might take you a while to get through and order.

    Our party of 3 had such a wonderful evening! The ambience was perfect. Service was fantastic. Kitchen and our waiter went over and above to accommodate one of us (vegan). All of the food was exceptional. Highly recommend and will be back again!
