    The food and service are fantastic. A young and vibrant team with new ideas on traditional dishes. Fusions of interesting flavours that explode in the mouth. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

    I’ll have to start with the negative first, so I asked the waitress what she would recommend for the day and she recommended the Sirloin Steak (Price R250). Imagine my disappointment when a petite sample of a steak, weighing nothing more than a 100g , and 12 chips arrived on my plate at the table. My wife on the other hand, ordered the lamb curry (R225), which I would gladly rate a 9/10. It was soft, really flavourful and a decent portion, I am so grateful that she doesn’t eat a lot, so I had the opportunity to gratefully finished her food. To be fair, the steak was done to my liking (medium/rare ). Next time, I expect to get the two-thirds of my steak you still owe me.

    I advised the restaurant of my dietary restrictions (zero plants of ANY kind, and 100% animal products only ie carnivore way of eating) and was pleasantly surprised by how the chef accommodated it. So for instance when my husband received a lovely bread roll with homemade butter pre-dinner , I received a lovely bowl of biltong with the same homemade butter. It was delicious. And for the rest of the meal my requirements were accommodated in the same way. We had a lovely meal!!!
