Welcome to GOLD Restaurant where dining is a celebration of food, flavours, family and friends, accompanied by live entertainment. Come and celebrate with us.

While honouring African culinary traditions we combine these with modern flavours and techniques to serve up a sophisticated African feast that we change seasonally.

African food is traditionally shared and enjoyed with family and friends. Similarly, our 14-dish tasting menu is served in generous individual and shared portions. Each dish is brought to your table with country of origin, cooking techniques and spicing explained. All our Halaal-certified meat, poultry and fish dishes come with vegetarian or vegan substitutes. Please inform us of your dietary preferences when booking so that we can adjust accordingly.

Family is central to African culture and children are welcome. There is no dress code and were open 7 days a week. We welcome walk-ins when capacity allows but we cannot guarantee availability, so we urge you to pre-book.

    I can't comment as the taxi supposedly coming to pick our party up never arrived nor did anyone from the taxi company or restaurant contact us. We waited over an our outside the cruise terminal, tried to ring GOLD but got no answer and no one contacted us. I emailed on the night and then emailed a complaint. The taxi company said they came and waited 10 minutes but no one was there. At least 2 people were outside most of the time and checking with taxi drivers if they were picking us up!

    My expectation were pretty high I am afraid.. The starters were good but my waiter was not too clear when explaining the dishes. The rest came all together so could not really understand what I was eating.

    Our experience at the restaurant was phenomenal. The food was scrumptious and spectacular. The live entertainment was like we were in a dream. Absolutely astonishing! We loved the face painting! The waiters are very welcoming and kind! Definitely would come again!

    Excellent night out and good value for money however we were seated upstairs in an already packed venue and had no sight of the stage where the show was

    What an absolutely beautiful place, warm and inviting. Staff were fantastic and the entertainment was so much more than expected. Definitely a place to visit.

    We loved our dinner at Gold. It was a great cultural experience overall. The food was warm, fresh and tasty. We strongly recommend it!
