    I was very sad to see that even though a huge amount of savoury items on the menu have avo, that you ran out of avo on Saturday. We arrived at lunch time and surely The Goddess Cafe should anticipate that avo would be consumed. Our waitron Tanaka was very distracted. However, the highlight of the day was the delicious livers on toast and the granadilla condensed milk sponge cake - even though the menu said tart - the waitron explained that it had been changed. Other than that, it is always a pleasure to go to The Goddess Cafe.

    We planned what we thought would be a special outing for a friend’s birthday. It was a huge disappointment. The music was absolutely terrible. The speaker (thick with dust) made a crackling noise. The restaurant is noisy. An extra trestle table was crammed in outside. When the patrons left it was relocated inside. The entrance was closed off and table put in front of the door, leaving only one entrance and exit being the one with stairs onto the parking lot. In my view, that is a huge safety concern. The food was not bad, but not exciting at all. The broccoli salad was a hit with one lady at our table. The other tried a vegan wrap and 3/4 was taken ‘as take away’. The pink pancake was average. The creamy mushrooms on toast was enjoyed by one guest, the other pushed her very hard bacon on her plate to the side. Not crispy, simply to appetising. The cake was very disappointing. I ordered the chocolate cake. I ate only the top part with topping. The topping was good. The cake was dense and heavy. 2 people shared the Lindt cake and were equally disappointed. 2 enjoyed the Lemon Meringue. Our waitron was lovely. Our table was ready and waitron allocated before. The restaurant was packed, so perhaps other patrons do not share our sentiment. We will not be back.

    It appeared that the busier the restaurant got the louder the music got which made it a bit unpleasant.
