GlenWood is a boutique winery located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and tranquility close to Franschhoek. We offer top quality wines, personal service and a range of unforgettable experiences. These are:

· Wine Tasting (11.00 - 16.00, Tues - Sun, no booking required)

· Vine to Bottle Tour (11.00, Tues - Sun, no booking required).

· Gourmet Sushi (Tues - Sun, booking required on dineplan)

Wine and Fynbos Tour (Tues - Sun, phone or email booking required).

    Our gourmet sushi lunch at Glenwood was absolutely fabulous. Cindy, our host, looked after us attentively. The food quality is excellent, along with the wine, and the setting is stunning.

    Fabulous wine and sushi. Best service from Bongs and Foster. Glenwood is a beautiful place to enjoy sushi under the shade of the trees

    We love Glenwood! Amazing sushi, beautiful setting and great service. Don't be in a hurry as good sushi takes time, but relax, sit back and enjoy! One of our favourites!

    Both of us fell ill after the meal with sickness and diarrhoea, not sure if it was the food or not!

    Dear Mr Darby, Thank you for visiting Glenwood yesterday and for providing your review. We were naturally sorry to hear about you both being unwell later in the day. While your news was very concerning to us, we can say that it seems extremely unlikely that it was the result of consuming our food, due to the hygienic measures we have in place together with the fact that no other instances have been reported to us which we surely would have heard about. Of course this cannot be proven but we are reassured that such an eventuality has not ever occurred since we opened our restaurant some five years ago. We naturally wish you well and hope that you both recover as quickly as possible. Kind regards.

    Another brilliant return visit to the best sushi restaurant in the Western Cape ! Glenwood is a must-do experience if you are in the Franschhoek area.
