Disappointed, to say the absolute Least. Upon arrival, there was no parking. Having found parking in the mall, upon entry, we didn't have a table available to us, even though we'd made and Confirmed a booking. Having waited half an hour for a table to be vacated, we gave up and went home. No Actual dining experience to report back about.

Geet used to be one of my favourite restaurants, but my recent visit left much to be desired. Since it was Valentine’s Day, the menu was set. The first course had an interesting variety of flavours, but the chicken was bland and incredibly dry. The chef kindly substituted lamb for the main course, but unfortunately, it also lacked flavour, was dry (again), and didn’t have the spice level I had requested. Beyond the underwhelming meal, the service was noticeably lacking throughout the evening. Requested items never arrived, everything took far too long, and we only received our wine after the second course—a frustrating experience in itself. To make matters worse, the wine descriptions on the menu were inaccurate, leading me to return two bottles. Despite these issues, the warm ambience, good company, and a half-decent bottle of wine made the evening somewhat tolerable—but certainly not thanks to the service or food. If not for the company, I likely would have left before the meal was over. That said, given the possibility that Valentine’s Day may have been an off night for the staff, I’ll give Geet one more chance before deciding whether to write it off completely.

We did the Valentines set menu. It was pricey, but the food was amazing. The service was poor, but the few waiters working had a lot of tables. I totally understand when things get busy the lead times for meals can take longer, but the waiters should check in with their tables more. Dining patrons should never feel like their waiter has forgotten about them. That said, the food quality and help from the friendly hostess made up for poor service. Still really enjoyed ourselves.

We go to this restaurant every year on our anniversary, my wife is vegetarian and finding a place that gives her some choices is very hard to find, at Geet however, there are so many choices for her so she always feels spoilt and special when we go there
