Bistro vibes & vineyard views at the gorgeous Gabrielskloof Wine Estate.
A deeply unfashionable approach to modern life - embracing butter, cream and wine. Not plant based, unless you're talking about grapes. Advocates of a bit of indulgence. A small restaurant with a lot of heart. Good stuff, done well.

    At our recent visit we enjoyed again the super delicious lunch menu at Farro. The tart as a starter was excellent, same like the baked hake as a main and the dessert. All very sophisticated and beautiful plated. THe ambiance is stylish and relaxed in and outside and the wines are super. Highly recommendable and worth a detour!

    My wife and I have eaten at Farro many times before and have always had an enjoyable time. The courtyard has been well designed enabling eating outside even in inclement weather. We both had the fish main course which was very well presented and was an excellent choice for a light meal. Own estate wines are very drinkable and good value for money. The service was better than most other similar restaurants in the surrounding area. Highly recommended restaurant and very much worth the drive from Hermanus.
