A deeply unfashionable approach to modern life - embracing butter, cream and wine. Not plant based, unless you're talking about grapes. Advocates of a bit of indulgence. A small restaurant with a lot of heart. Good stuff, done well.

    We had an absolutely amazing experience at Farro! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. What really stood out, though, was how family-friendly the restaurant was. They gave our kids toy boxes to play with, and it was a game-changer! The kids were entertained the entire time, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our meal. It’s clear the team put thought into creating a wonderful experience for families. The food was outstanding—every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone, especially families looking for a stress-free dining experience!

    We loved absolutely everything about our experience at Gabriëlskloof! It is such a stunning spot, with beautiful views. The food at Farro was exceptional, and the pork belly was most probably the best I've ever had. My husband also really enjoyed the chicken, which is something he rarely orders. We were glad that we followed the server's recommendations! We'll definitely be back, and I can highly recommend this jewel to anybody who happens to find themselves driving past it on the N2.
