Tim and Judy have an extensive background in the hospitality industry and have always believed in the community of sharing and celebrating. In this way, the perfectly balanced menu has been designed in small plates that can be ordered and shared. There is a kids menu on offer, so everyone is covered - guaranteeing an opportunity to sit back and un-wine-d.

    Honestly this is the best little place in Cape Town I have been a few times and NEVER let down everything is excellent !! Well done to them as it’s hard to achieve that but they do.

    We were warmly greeted by Jordan who was extremely helpful & attentive... We loved the imaginative crockery, the food & the prompt service... However we were disappointed to be told, when requested, there was no salt & pepper or olive oil available...the food was prepared and these requests were unnecessary as none of the dishes needed this... We felt, as the paying clients this was rather arrogant... We will think twice about another visit because of this

    We were lucky enough to visit Uitsig on a windless night and had a beautiful evening of delicious food and excellent service. Most guests recommend the pulled pork lollipops (which are great), but the cauliflower is one of the best vegan dishes you'll ever eat. Absolutely sublime (I'm not vegan). There wasn't a single bad dish, highly recommend.

    Only down side is that is a lack of wine choice as the proprietor must sell Uitsig wines.
