In late 2023, The Winshaw Wine Tasting and Eatery debuted on our family farm with a vision to share our rich family history and offer a haven for our Winshaw wines and Usana grass-fed/finished meat & pasture raised eggs.

Our concise menu highlights our Grass-fed beef as the star, complemented by a seasonal vegetarian alternative. Experience a leisurely lunch on our lush lawn, or cozy up in our inviting indoor space if the weather turns chilly. Come savor the essence of our farm with us.

    As a return visitor, I’m never sure what draws me back more—the wine, the food, or the blissful escape. Probably all three. The wines have character and a bit of cheek, with a story in every glass. The food is unfussy but excellent—steaks, burgers, and veggie options done right. Best of all is the vibe: laid-back, under the trees, no rush, no pretense. Just good wine, good food, and that off-the-beaten-track magic Stellenbosch does so well.

    The menu is limited but the food was good. We had to wait rather a long time for it to arrive. The manager was very pleasant, and apologised for the wa it. Our Chenin Blanc wine was also very good. Pricing was however somewhat on the high side but a very enjoyable experience nonetheless
