We at De Vette Mossel strive to offer much more than merely perfectly prepared seafood – this is an experience, in unusual and informal surroundings, where you relax with friends (old ones and newly found ones) where your time is your own and where you may eat as much as you like – just like we do along the West Coast.

The different dishes are prepared and presented one after the other as a rolling buffet. We strive to prepare seafood perfectly, and to serve it immediately thereafter. This guarantees freshly prepared seafood on the plate – an absolute must for exceptional seafood.

    Good day, The prawns were deliciously prepared and quite large, but I was disappointed that only four prawns were served at a time. While I understand the reasoning behind this, it became frustrating when I went back for a second helping. The line was long, and by the time it was my turn again, the prawns were all gone, leaving me to wait once more. Additionally, I noticed that the prawns were not cleaned of their vein, which could have been attended to before serving. On a positive note, the ambiance had a lovely, vacation-like atmosphere, and the setting was very pretty. However, the music was a bit too loud. I wasn’t seated near the speakers, but it still felt overwhelming. Perhaps turning the volume down slightly would make it more comfortable for everyone. Kind regards Manda Smith

    Love this place. The vibes are immaculate, food is so good and fresh, portions are huge, cocktails are very tasty. Great atmosphere to come with friends or family.

    Everything as awesome, however the menu did say, oyster and glass of bubbly but we were given none. This was one of the reasons I booked there.
