All round superb culinary experience. Well worth a visit and the deli with fabulous fresh produce, first class butchery and imported and local produce a bonus.

I was super disappointed to be honest Service terrible, no oroper cutlery for the steaks late with drinks and even re order of drinks. Food was lackluster. Mushroom tartlet freezing cold and beef wontons lacked fresh Asian flavour. Duck was dry. We came for my birthday weren't treated better on the day. I did receive a hand written card which was beautiful and very thoughtful from Chef Daniel. It just felt like the chef and staff were on Easter holidays too

Culinary table used to be so good. But sadly of late each time we have gone we have noticed it has been declining .. prices increasing and service and food and value decreasing. Yesterday was the last straw and sadly we will not be back! We booked weeks in adv to bring over seas family to lunch. Arrived ordered starters .. they arrived.. no cutlery or plates.. asked.. waited.. finally they arrived. Our waiter Johannes seemed to be very thinly stretched with far too many tables. Ordered mains after struggling to flag him down. Exact same story!! Food arrived 45 mins later ( in 2 batches) no cutlery again.. more waiting also waited 10 mins for salad dressing . There was absolutely no mgt around checking or managing anything. Owner chilling at bar talking to his friend. Food was super ave some meals over cooked when asked for med but after all this waiting we were starving and just ate!!!! Waiter acknowledged he asked for med and food was over cooked. At main meals over R200 and then sides still charged for I’m sorry I expect more!! To add insult to injury the bathrooms were filthy and soap dispenser was filled with WATER!! Sorry culinary table after a few thousand Rand billl ( one beer no real alcohol do better with food and service!!!!) have visible mgt to start.
