Our popular Winelands destination has developed a devoted following since 2009. As of the first of July 2023 the restaurant is under new ownership of Nicole Marais. Being a mom of two she has decided to change the restaurant to a family friendly establishment.

Guests are invited to come and enjoy a relaxed family dinning experience on our wraparound balcony, where you become one with nature with our prized vineyards right there in front of you. Nicole describes her style as wholesome bistro food. We have all the right ingredients including award-winning wines, a seasonal, flavorful, beautifully plated menu. Kiddie menu as well as a woodfired pizza menu, a jungle gym, indoor kiddie corner, a variety of wine pairings and a, kiddie pairing so the little ones don't need to feel left out and of coarse priceless views.

We invite parents to come relax while the little ones make their own pizza, decorate a cupcake, play with the toys or play outside.

    Fantastic experience. Great ambiance with a beautiful view over the lush vineyards. The staff were incredibly friendly and put in extra effort to make it special for my husband’s birthday. The food experience was exquisite, delicious wine, and we just loved having the ice-cream and wine pairing for dessert. All the flavours were incredibly interesting and a real delight! Highly recommended.

    I dined at the restaurant before but after this visit I will not visit the restaurant again. The fact that there were only 2 tables booked proofs the point. There are so many excellent restaurants around Stellenbosch but this is not one of them

    We arrived on time for our wine tasting, but it took about 30-35 minutes before anyone attended to us or brought us water. Meanwhile, other tables seemed to be getting served faster, and we didn’t get any heads-up or apology about the delay. This wasn’t our first time there, so we knew what to expect, but honestly, the service on Saturday wasn’t great. We ended up leaving because it just wasn’t up to par!

    The waiter was really unfriendly this time. Have been here several times and know it can be better. The cupcake from the kiddie tasting was very old, but we got a new one from the kitchen after asking. The wine poured for the pairing was too little. When we asked for a little sip more the waiter was not really willing to do. However, we love the new kiddie corner with the play kitchen.

    Leider wurde der Rotwein teilweise in Weißweingläsern serviert, es standen verschiedene Wassergläser auf dem Tisch, ein Menü hatte eher Starter-Größe ( war viel zu wenig ). Das Mineralwasser wurde in einer Plastikflasche auf den Tisch gestellt .
