Step into the gastronomic heart of the hotel and take your seat in an exclusive, hidden dining space. Watch in wonder as dishes are prepared right before your eyes—then uncover the inspiration behind each creation.

Inspired by the seasons and the desire to reduce our footprint on this wonderful land, the chefs have put their minds and attentions on sourcing, when possible, local organically grown produce that has the smallest impact on our environment. They deal with likeminded farmers and producers who share a desire that our children must also be able to share this land’s harvest with their children. They have excluded meat and fish intentionally and chosen to showcase and celebrate the wonderous bounty of Western Cape agriculture.

    A unique experience worth every penny. A tiny dining room in the corner of the kitchen to see all the action. Every one of the 6 courses was impeccable. Chefs Issac and Chef Z made really memorable food and Lazarus chose the perfect wine pairing. First time we enjoyed Springbok and the mini Brie was a delight.

    It's a noisy experience as one expected being on the edge of a busy kitchen but the attention from Lazarus and Isaac and Nonsi (sous chef....not sure if I have her name correct) was exceptional. The food was delicious, the wine pairing special - )and my grateful thanks to Lazarus for having picked up on my husband's love of wine and choosing special bottles). It was a memorable evening and my daughter who's 30th birthday we were celebrating, felt very special. Thank you all.

    We have been to many fine dining experiences across the cape and the world. I am happy to say that this has been, by far, our most intimate and special experience of them all. To have a talented chef, and team, prepare a meal & journey that has such a personal connection is a very unique experience. Thank you to Chef Isaac for sharing his memories through the food & Lazarus for the superb hosting. Will certainly be back.

    What a great experience! We did book Chef's Table already the third time. Everytime it is a great and unique experiense. Great foos, superb wine pairing and a great service! We will come again.

    Awesome dinner and wine pairings. Chef Isaac and Lazarus were great and made the experience wonderful. We were also with people who were from South Africa and communicate how authentic the food was.
