    We had been to Carne on Keerom before, but this was our first visit to Carne on Kloof. The ambience was lovely, and the restaurant had a good vibe. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food.The wait time was 45 minutes, even though the restaurant was barely full. The overall presentation of the food was poor—cauliflower on a white plate as decoration looked uninspired. My husband ordered a dish that was supposed to have sauces on the fillets, but instead, he received three tiny saucers on the side. The béarnaise sauce was good but cold, while the mushroom sauce was bland, pasty, and floury. The meat in all three dishes was good, but overall, we were disappointed. For a place that prides itself on high-quality meat, it did not live up to expectations.

    Great food. Excellent service. If you are a steak lover, this is the place to go. A little out of the way but well worth the visit.
