The location, set up and views are incredible! The service needs improvement, our picnic spot had been given away to other people, it took us over 25 minutes to receive our drinks and almost an hour for our picnic basket to arrive.

We went for the picnic. If you’re looking for a stunning view, comfortable seating and a quiet setting, then this is the place for you. Watching the sunset over the lake and ocean was spectacular and the vineyard is gorgeous. The quality of the picnic and the value was not good unfortunately, the presentation of the picnic I think could be a lot better, the cold cut meats and cheese were sadly not great, neither was the salad or the dessert. I’d prefer if they perhaps made the picnic more expensive if that’s an issue and then sourced better quality items? I wouldn’t go back again just to have the picnic but if you’re not so into the food but just want a nice chilled picnic setting with a lovely view, then it will be something for you. Next time I’ll go for the restaurant again as their the steak and sushi were both excellent and beautifully presented so I think this is a better option.

Booked it as a gift for friends anniversary. They said it was a lovely place and they enjoyed it overall. They did mention that they waited an hour for their basket and people who arrived after them got their basket first. They mentioned it to the manager and got a glass of champagne to make up for it. Also I called the morning to mention it is their anniversary the girl on the phone said she would make a note and let the others know but it doesn't seem any special effort was made which is a bit disappointing. I know however that it wasn't obligatory but would have been much appreciated.
