Welcome to The Bistro & Tasting Room at Brookdale Estate!

Ours is a true Cinderella tale … What was once a forgotten vineyard, overgrown and underused, is now a significant site for exceptional wines, creative cuisine, and abundant beauty.

Here, delicious menus designed by seasoned Executive Chef, Gary Coetzee, are brought together with wines grown on the surrounding vines and vinified by winemaker, Kiara Scott Farmer.

We have selected a blend of varietals for our vineyards and locally-sourced ingredients for our menus that honour the region, whilst showcasing new ideas, combinations and techniques.

Sip, taste, savour and discuss our minimalistic, terroir-driven wines which accompany dishes inspired by international flavours and local produce.

The Bistro at Brookdale promises a relaxed, contemporary Cape Winelands dining experience. Expect beautiful, soulful dishes, enjoyed with our wines, while at the Tasting Room, you will sample the latest terroir-driven vintages from our cellar made in ever-evolving styles.

    THE MEAL WAS SIMPLY EXCELLENT! However, it know they must promote their wine estate’s wines but if they can include some other wine estates wines on their menu that would be fantastic. 5/5 for this estate.

    Great experience !!! Everything was perfect. Our menus, the service, our table on the terrace with the magnificent view and all of that in glorious sunshine
