Thank You Peter and the team we had a great evening, my only comment would have been (difficult to fix but food for thought), majority of guests seated on terrace with a great view, but pianist and singer played inside, and we lost the impact.

We went for the sensory tasting which was a beautiful experience. The service from the minute we drove in , receptionist & the waitress was impeccable. The view from the deck- stunning. Will definitely go back to try out the restaurant.

Fantastic experience. But aubergine slightly undercooked. But odd not detract from the enjoyment.

There is so much that is absolutely splendid about this venue, that it seems unfair to be somewhat negative about the food. We had oysters to start and they were fine. For our main course we ordered one chicken and two pork belly dishes from the main menu. I understand the chicken was good--not outstanding, but certainly acceptable. My daughter and I both settled for the pork belly, the joy of which is the chance to enjoy some great crackling. My daughter said the crackling was fine on her portion--crispy and good--but I found mine too rubbery and did not attempt to eat it. The pork was good and tasty. Alex found the portion size a bit small, but it was fine for me. I am just an ordinary mum who wanted to give her daughter a treat by taking her to a beautiful restaurant. Our experience certainly ticked many of the boxes, but all in all we felt that the meal was disappointing. Asara is an expensive restaurant and we expected our meal to be in keeping with the prices paid.
