What better way to enjoy summer in the Cape Winelands than to relax in the shade of old oak trees with a picnic at Allee Bleue.
A walled grassy garden, with views of our vineyards and the majestic Drakenstein Mountains in the background all, combine to make the perfect picnic spot.
A Picnic basket, served at a garden table under an ancient oak tree or a Picnic-on-the-go hamper, to be enjoyed on the lawns of the beautifully manicured gardens, is the perfect setting for a lazy day in the Cape Winelands.
A jungle gym, jumping castle, and sandpit will keep children amused for hours while you enjoy a leisurely lunch under the trees. Kiddies Menu also available.

    Had both normal & vegetarian baskets. Both delicious & good portion sizes. Staff helpful, well informed & good sense of humor. Relaxing ambience. Comfortable table & chairs (91 yr old guest incl), as well as set up blanket with bean bags- real comfy. Would def return. Maybe dessert could be reconsidered. Meal was really good, but cupcake was a little unimpressive. Very relaxing afternoon, thank you .

    Awesome experience very friendly staff and the lady who served us top class. She knows her wines and what food to pair it with. Her personality makes is so easy to communicate with her. We surely coming back.

    This was such a treat! The food was lovely and generous in portion. I loved the fact that I could lounge on the picnic chairs and enjoy my meal at the table.The service was great. I would highly recommend

    Please do not waste your time here. We booked for a Xmas day picnic. To have paid what we paid for the food basket was a joke. The area was advertised so well, with seperate tables from the play area etc. The tables were decorated with a cracker and a single plate and knife and fork. Very sad looking, had to ask for bowls and and spoons to dish the food from the bowls. We literally had a fork full of everything, packed up and handed food to homeless people on our way home. These staff were speaking to each other in such loud noises for all to hear. This was our Chrismas luch!

    What a wonderful day we had! The establishment allowed us to take our picnic to the banks of the river under the beautiful trees. This was perfect, as we had our doggo and were relaxed and at ease knowing we wouldn’t disturb anyone. The staff very kindly carried everything to the river bank and were so accommodating. Food baskets were ample and bread fresh and lovely. Will definitely visit again! Thank you!
