    We made a booking for the Valentine's day special but a table was not reserved for us. Moved tables 3 times to eventually get a table that we could dine on. The service was poor, waited for over an hour just to get starters. The waitress got very upset when we didn't tip her and refused to speak to us thereafter.

Regarding the table, you are correct that you had a reservation. We sincerely apologize that we were unable to accommodate your request for an outdoor table, as they were all fully booked. We understand this was frustrating, and we regret that we could not move you to one of these tables. We also acknowledge the unacceptable wait time for your starters. Valentine's Day was exceptionally busy for us, and while we pride ourselves on our high standards of service, we clearly fell short on this occasion. We are taking steps to improve our service efficiency and are addressing the staffing challenges we faced that evening. We value your feedback and are committed to providing a better dining experience for all our guests. Regarding the interaction with your waitress, we've spoken with her about your feedback. We've used this as an opportunity to reinforce with our team the importance of attentive and gracious service, even during peak times. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.     Thr food was amazing and a true culinary experience. Service could have been a bit better however it didn't deter from the overall experience.

    We made a booking. When we arrived we were told to find an open table. We sat for 15minutes, received menus and were ignored by all staff. Got up and went to Peron Peron next door.

    If you are looking for an interactive cocktail masterclass experience (speciality being gin), then Alchemy Bar in Ballito definitely comes highly recommended. Richie went out of his way to accommodate us and was very enthusiastic and responsive. I was truly impressed with Richies’s professionalism and commitment to consistent customer service. The atmosphere was awesome and vibe at Alchemy was Gin-Tastic! This masterclass experience together with food pairing was thoroughly appreciated and fancied by my dad, brother and boyfriend. Let’s just say this is a place where a gin loving chemists’ dreams do come true. This was true South African hospitality at its finest. Siyabonga Richie and the Alchemy team - truly a world class customer experience and top class service.
