Classic Afternoon Tea: R595 per person, includes a glass of sommelier’s choice iced tea or L’Ormarins Cap Classique.
Vegan Afternoon Tea: R595 per person, includes a glass of sommelier’s choice iced tea or L’Ormarins Cap Classique.
Gluten-Free Afternoon Tea: R595 per person, includes a glass of sommelier’s choice iced tea or L’Ormarins Cap Classique.
Champagne Afternoon Tea: Additional R400 per person, includes a glass of Moët & Chandon.

    We have enjoyed afternoon tea in The Savoy hotel and The Ritz in London and this one was comparable with both of these. It was a very enjoyable experience set in beautiful surroundings.

    This high tea experience is something we always look forward to, and always enjoy immensely. Everything was top notch including the servers. We will certainly return.

    The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and the service is splendid. The food with afternoon tea was rather disappointing. Not super tasty or creative.

    I chose the Afternoon Tea at the Mount Nelson as a 60th birthday celebration with five friends. The experience was everything and more than I had hoped for. From the booking online and follow-up email confirmations, to the warm and friendly welcome on the day, it was an amazing experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and also passionate about the food and beverages on offer. The setting is beautiful and the service was smooth and professional. To single out any one dish that we enjoyed would be difficult, as every bite was a taste adventure. All my friends have commented on how much they loved their afternoon and I will remember it for a long time as one of the most fabulous experiences I have had. Thank you to Ntombi and Craig for the part they played in making the day so enjoyable, and to the staff at the Mount Nelson for creating the warm and inviting atmosphere. I will definitely be recommending the Afternoon Tea to my friends.
