Wonderful experience at the Cape Grace for afternoon tea. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the tea was very generous (so much so that we had to take some home with us as we couldn't bare to leave any behind!). The setting overlooking Table Mountain and the yachts is lovely. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful people, amazing service and value for money . The music was beautiful, but just a bit too loud . Afternoon tea exceeded our expectations. It was a lot and full of flavour, except ... The sandwiches seemed a bit stale and was my least favourite dish . Either it was refrigerated and therefor the bread was hard , but that didn't deter from overall experience. Would definitely be back .

We had a fabulous experience doing the Art Workshop with Kim Black and then enjoying the High Tea. The setting was amazing and the food was excellent. A wonderful day all in all.

All round a lovely experience with super staff and happy people. Samoosas are always popular and spring rolls and fresh salmon or salmon terrines and some more crudites and snap peas and garden goodies would have been lovely to set off against the rich but very tasty high tea tray of sweets treats. I will definitely be coming back. I also made a reel of the event which I tagged Cape Grace Hotel on - I hope this is entered into the competition for the Kim Black print. As afternoon teas go, it’s very hard not to think that the quality of the food on offer is the best in Cape Town. The variety of savouries is extensive and imaginative while the desserts are designed with the house blend of tea in mind, the various elements incorporated into each offering. Service is exemplary and the price is very competitive when thinking of other great teas as venues like The Nellie and Silo. The only downside for me is that tea is taken in the very functional main hotel dining room which is not particularly comfortable. Just a personal opinion you might not be bothered by. Before the redec, it was taken in the library which was much more relaxed. A great afternoon tea, happy days, yummy food

Simply WOW! From the welcome by Concierge to the further welcome in the Lounge, to the attentive service and description of the Afternoon Tea by highly competent waiter (with Gangster vibes), to the relaxing ambiance and stunning views, simply WOW! Not our first experience of Afternoon Tea at some of Cape Town's other 5* Hotels so we already had high expectations, which were undoubtedly exceeded. I asked if many guests eat all of the delicacies as there was so much, to which I was informed not many, so I question whether they offer too much, which certainly makes it fantastic value! This was a highlight of our stay in Cape Town which we've recommended to our family and friends. We will definitely return for another Afternoon Tea experience at the Cape Grace Hotel.
