We recently held a networking event at The Cape Grace's Heirloom restaurant for senior industry specialists. Booking the event was fast & efficient, even with last minute changes. On arrival the F&B management, team & hosts we're incredibly welcoming, again we had a layout change which they were to accommodate which elevated the event. The F&B selection for the Afternoon Tea was outstanding, as was the service & would highly recommend for private or corporate functions.

I booked this afternoon tea because of the fantastic views shown on the hotel website. When making the booking, I indicated that the afternoon tea was for a dual special occasion. Imagine my disappointment when we were shown to a table in a corner with absolutely no view. This was incredibly disappointing and detracted from what was meant to be a very special occasion. In fairness, the food was excellent. The server was fantastic, if very busy and running between many tables. The only other aspect that was disappointing was that we could only try one type of tea. This is different to other high tea experiences at other establishments. Overall, the potentially excellent experience was let down by poor seating with no view.
