Aegir Project Taproom is a family-friendly restaurant in Noordhoek, Cape Town, with a brewery at its heart.

Since opening our doors in 2015 as a small, passion-fuelled brewery obsessed with pushing the boundaries on flavour, we’re proud to have grown into the kind of welcoming home-away-from-home where locals and visitors alike can sit down and have a laugh over great food and superb beer.

Whether you’re taking in the view of Noordhoek Beach from the sundowner deck with an icy pint in hand, tucking into one of our hand-stretched, Neapolitan-style sourdough pizzas, or sampling our killer coffee while the kids tear through the playground, our aim is to make you feel like family.

    What a lovely experience! A lovely relaxed restaurant, in a beautiful location, tucked under the Milkwood trees, but still a great view over the bay.. the food was surprisingly good, well prepared and generous portions. very good wine selection. Service was slow and inattentive but with friends it almost did not matter... well worth the trip, and we will be back!

    Only reason ambience is low is due to drain/septic tank smell that got particularly unpleasant by the end of the evening (9.30pm)

    Beer is the point of Aegir, after all it's a brewery. And the beer is OUTSTANDING. Food is very tasty and the menu is appropriate for the venue - nothing too fancy but nice variations on the standard burgers, pizzas, etc. We really like the broccoli pizza. Service is excellent, waitresses/waiters are knowledgeable and friendly. Setting is loverly under the trees. Definitely recommended.
