Club Kloof
Towards the top of Kloof Street, you’ll find this new and vibrant eatery serving up tasty shared plates and aperitivi in their scarlet dining room and sunny terrace. The menu features a selection of small plates, including pizzette topped with all manner of delicious ingredients, interesting salads that hero fresh produce, crispy arancini, fried and stuffed olives, and, of course, a choice desserts including tiramisu and a Campari almond cake with marscapone. Owned by the same duo behind the popular restaurant, Our Local, Chef Shayne Shutte and Michael Carter describe it as an “Italian-ish restaurant and bar”. What’s not to love?
Galjoen
We’ve all been eagerly awaiting this news! Galjoen has just announced that they will be opening their doors on the 16th of June and are now taking reservations. Neil Swart and Anouchka Horn’s latest culinary venture on Harrington Street is a sustainable seafood restaurant with a tasting menu featuring locally caught seafood.

Being great fans of their highly-rated sister restaurant, Belly of the Beast, we cannot wait to get a seat. Galjoen will be open for lunch from Wednesday to Saturday (R550 per person) and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday (R750 per person). By reservation only.

Artistry Experiences
Bringing the best of the art world to Jozi, Artistry is hosting their second movie club event on the 18th of May! Renowned chef Luke Dale Roberts has expanded his acclaimed, and much-loved, Cape Town restaurant with the opening of The Pot Luck Club Johannesburg. On the menu, you’ll find all your old favourites as well as some delicious new dishes to try. The PLC JHB will be be open for both lunch and dinner from Monday through to Saturday.
