6. Saint Restaurant

(Sandton, Johannesburg)

The skilled chefs at Saint, another of Chef David Higgs’ restaurants, fire up incredibly tasty (if not entirely traditional) hand-made pizzas from scratch. The perfect crust is a must, so special, high-performance wood-fired pizza ovens were brought in from Naples – the birthplace of chewy, perfectly charred and blistered pizza crusts. When you look through their guest reviews, you’ll notice that there’s a pattern of “amazing, as usual”, “I always enjoy this place”, “Saint never disappoints”, “we highly recommend this restaurant”, and the likes. So, do yourself a favour, book your table and dig into one of those pizzas yourself!
